"There's something to be said for a bunch of actors, putting in the work and leaving it all out on the stage unencumbered by elaborate sets. That's why I love Theater9/12's shows as it's all about the performances. Plus the shows are always so intimate in their little parish hall space that you really feel part of the world they've created. This is why their current production of "Six Degrees of Separation" works so well especially with the narrative quality of much of the dialog....Another engaging and solid show from Theater9/12 filled with fine performances. If you haven't caught one of their shows yet, this one could turn you into a fan like me. And so, with my three letter rating system I give Theater9/12's "Six Degrees of Separation" a solid YAY"

—Jay Irwin, BROADWAY WORLD

Six Degrees” digs into some substantial issues beneath its rather breezy seriocomic exterior. Namely, the limits of interpersonal connection and the blinders that privilege can provide...Charles Waxberg efficiently guides a 17-person cast through the relatively small stage space...Diekhans, playing a woman so certain of her place in the world just an hour before, is suddenly, movingly, unsure."

Dusty Somers, SEATTLE TIMES

"Six Degrees of Separation, was by far the most stimulating play I have seen there. Charles Waxberg had a stroke of genius because he chose to stage this play in the round; the actual “action” when the characters interacted with each other was done in a small inner circle in the middle of a larger circle. The characters voiced their inner monologues directly to the audience from the outer circle. It was a brilliant way to differentiate which spoken words were inner monologues and which were directed at the other characters....the quick pacing of the dialogue, the honesty of the actors and of course the choice of an interesting thought-provoking play.
