Three years in development with the actors in Theatre9/12's Master Class, this teachable technique for acting both truthfully and comedically offers specific choices and viewpoints that can transform the serious actor into seriously funny!
TECHNIQUES INCLUDE:
• The three major elements for acting comedy
• Abstraction of "comedic point of view"
• Contrasting focus of drama vs. comedy
• Comedic choices for background, justification,
emotions, objectives & more
• Direct and indirect connection to the final
"scene partner"-the audience-who has "lines"
• Differing comedy styles/periods and their aims
5 weeks: Wednesdays 7-10pm

with FREE PARKING
This will be an active scene/monologue/instruction workshop
to be filmed for public viewing and marketing.
There is NO TUITION (free!) for
the six to eight active performers who volunteer
to sign a release of footage, for educational purposes.
